Welcome to St. Croix Lutheran Middle School’s inaugural post. We’re set to officially open our doors and launch our first classes in September, but as you can imagine there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes work that needs to be completed before then. That’s where this blog comes into play.
Join us on an electronic journey that will explore what’s happening at the middle school. We’ll tell you what we’re excited about… We’ll introduce you to the teachers that will be joining our ranks this fall… We’ll answer questions you might have about the admissions and financial aid processes… We’ll give you a sneak peek at all that is in store for students this September. From photos of our classrooms to interviews with future students, the topics will vary greatly. It’s my hope that through it all you’ll begin to form your own ideas about what it means when we say we’re in the business of educating the total student – spiritually, intellectually and physically – and see what it is that makes a St. Croix education a cut above the rest.
Oh, and one more thing – my name is Todd Russ. Two things you should know about me: 1) I really love my work as a teacher and director of the middle school; 2) I’m from Wisconsin but won’t hold it against you if you’re not.
