It has been a busy, busy summer as we were is preparations for the new school year. June closed out our inaugural year in style as we spent two days in northern WI. There we traveled to Madeline Island and Duluth. We then graduated our first class of 12 students. They were the first to "Embrace the Weirdness" of the middle school. Those 12 will be missed, but they helped establish a new school. That is pretty cool!
Now it is time to welcome 26 new students to the middle school program. With all 20 eligible students returning for year two, we will have an enrollment of 46. That is an increase if 14 students from last school year. We are very excited about the growth and increase of more than 30%.
This school year our theme is "Built on the Rock." It is based om Matthew 7:25 which talks about how winds and rains of life cannot hurt us as long as we are built on the solid foundation and rock of Christ. With full confidence in Christs love and mercy, we look to build with our students and families!
